Delicious Mango Lassi (Slush): 3
In summer than cannot be anything better than having a chilled glass filled of mango Lassi. It is easy to make and does not consume much time in preparation. Just go for it!
Ingredients
Three Cubed Mangoes
Two cups curd
Two tablespoons chopped mint leaves
Four or five tablespoons of sugar
Some ice
For Garnishing
Two spoons of crushed almonds, cashew nuts, etc. (Optional)
A few mint leaves
How to Prepare
Except for the garnishing items, put all the ingredients into a mixer or food processor.
Pour this puree into a shallow freezer proof container.
Freeze for about four to six hours until it is thick.
Take the container out and transfer the slush into a blender and liquidize till it is slushy.
Serve in glasses, garnished with mint leaves and crushed dry fruit.

Delicious Banana Lassi (Slush): 2
Banana lassi is a very popular drink in India and Pakistan, particularly in North India where people consume a lot of milk and fruits in summer. It is easy to make and very delicious. Try this at home and enjoy the day.
Ingredients
Four medium sized bananas
Two cups hung curd (dahi)
6 tbsp honey or sugar if you like
Water and ice as required
Lemon juice
How to Prepare
Peeling the bananas, cut them into small pieces.
Whisking the curd, put it in a mixer and then add bananas, lime juice, honey and blend well.
Add some cold water and ice and blend again.
Serve in tall glass.

Ingredients
One kilogram
sugar
300 grams almonds
called Badam in India
10 gms poppy
seeds (khus-khus)
20 gms melon
seeds (charmagaz)
50 gms cardamom
(elaichi)
Two and a half litters
water
How to Prepare
Keep the poppy
seeds, almonds, and melon seeds soaked in water for about twelve hours.
Then peel the
almonds and make a find paste of all three ingredients: almonds, poppy seeds,
and melon seeds.
Take water in a
pan and boil it.
Now add sugar and
boil till syrup is obtained.
Then add the
cardamom (powdered form).
Then add the
paste and stir to a boil.
Remove from fire
and cool.
Sieve it and put
it in bottles.
